Aweber Introduces A Smarter Autoresponder
If you are on my mailing list you know I use Aweber. I have explained the reasons I use Aweber before so I won’t repeat myself here.
Last week I received an update about a new Aweber feature, Autoresponer Send Windows. This new feature provides users the ability to schedule follow-up messages for the days and times we think is best for our subscribers.
Now in case you’re not familiar with what follow-up messages are, they are the sequential messages you get when you sign up for a multi-day ecourse or report. In other words they are the pre-written messages someone has loaded into their autoresponder that are sent to new list members over a period of days.
With the new Send Windows application now available users are no longer limited to scheduling follow-up messages to be sent at user defined intervals. Now we can select the days and times for our follow-up message sequence.
Watch the video to see how easy it is to use Aweber’s new Autoresponder Send Windows.
So how can this new feature help you with your mailings?
The 3 ways I thought of are:
- With the new feature there are new reports that tell you when you your subscribers are opening your email and clicking your links. Using this information you can determine the best day and time to send your messages.
- If you deliver a weekly ezine on a certain day of the week, like Wednesday, then you can set your follow-up emails to not go out on Wednesday. That way your readers won’t get 2 emails from you on the same day.
- If you have pre-written messages you always want delivered on certain days of the week you can now put them in your autoresponder as follow-up messages and choose what day they will be sent.
Before Aweber introduced this new method to deliver follow-up messages there were other services some thought were comparible to Aweber. However I think everyone will agree that Aweber has just out-classed all of them and stands alone as the leading autoresponder service.
To Your Success,
Susan
